FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I enroll my child or get on the waiting list?

Fill out this form - someone will contact you within 48 hours to schedule a school visit and begin the enrollment process.

What is your enrollment process?

Fill out this form - someone will contact you within 48 hours to schedule a school visit.  If you are interested after the school visit, you will be given an application (or a wait list form, depending). Once your application is complete, you must submit first month's tuition to reserve your spot, a $250 annual supply fee, and a $100 application fee.  These are non-refundable.  You are asked to pay the first month tuition in advance because tuition payments are due one month in advance throughout the year (i.e. November's tuition is due on October 1st).

Can I tour the school?

Yes! I would love to meet you and show you the space! Fill out this form - someone will contact you within 48 hours to schedule a school visit.

How many adults will be working with my child?

I will be the sole caretaker for your children, but we have a part-time assistant as well!

Do you have part-time enrollment options?

We have very limited part-time spots, check our "Current Openings" page for updates on openings.

Do you offer before or aftercare?

No.  Unfortunately we can only offer care from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Do you only accept pre-k/preschool age children?

At this time, we are only accepting children ages 3 and up. Check out our "Developmental Signs of Readiness" checklist below to help prepare your child for our program.

How many children are in your program?

In order to provide the highest care and education for your children, our maximum capacity with 1 adult is 7 children.  With 2 adults, we can have up to 12 children.

Does my child have to be potty-trained?

We do not require children to be potty-trained, but we ask that you collaborate with us through the potty-training process.

Do you have any pets?

There are two sweet cats that live in the house, both are up-to-date on their shots!

Do the children take naps?

We have a 1.5 hour nap/rest time each day.

How much time do you all spend outside?

Unless the weather is dangerous, we will go outside every day - the amount of time we spend outside each day is weather-dependent. When the weather is ideal, we will spend 90% of the day outside in our outdoor classroom. If it is extremely cold or hot, we will spend shorter periods of time outside.

What curriculum do you use?

We do not use one specific curriculum, rather we implement a combination. Over the years, our founder has worked with multiple curriculums and pulls best practices from each. Additionally, we don't believe in tying ourselves directly to one; rather, we want to follow the interests of the children.

Do you have snow days?

We will not close for inclement weather seeing as some families may still have to work.

If my child is sick, do I get a refund?

Our tuition is a set monthly rate regardless of the number of days your child is at school.

Do you allow families to come and visit during the school day?

Yes, of course!
